Developer Fairyship Games has announced a new action RPG for PC and consoles. Titled Testament: The Order of High Human, the game will be a first-person RPG with elements of Metroidvania titles, according to IGN. The game currently doesn’t have a release date, but is slated for release on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

The game’s story revolves around the protagonist’s quest for revenge after being betrayed by their brother, Arva. Players take on the role of the immortal king of High Humans as they journey through the world fighting against the followers of a mad dictator.

Featuring a first-person perspective, Testament: The Order of High Human is slated to feature what the studio describes as “a new form of swordplay”. Players will be able to make use of combos, as well as magic spells to inflict various status ailments on their enemies.

Alongside combat, Testament: The Order of High Human will also have an emphasis on exploration as well as puzzle solving as they travel throughout the game’s world. The studio also boasts that the game will feature items that will allow players to “break the game”.
