The 3DS To Cost £140?

Posted By | On 02nd, Jul. 2010

Yay! More useless 3DS speculation!

Seriously, it’s kind of getting out of hand now.

Anyway, online Dutch retailer BartSmit.com has listed Nintendo’s upcoming phenomenal handheld at 169.95 euros. That’s just over $200 dollars and nearly £140 if you convert it directly. Which, incidentally, you shouldn’t. Since there are different taxes and duties applied on hardware per territory.

It also lists the 3DS’ release date at 15th March 2010, which is just before the end of Nintendo’s fiscal year. Whether this is just a Dutch/Europe release date, or a worldwide one, however, is unknown.

I don’t know, but I personally like my handhelds below $200. I also like them to have definite release dates and prices, so get over yourselves and just give us the damn release details, Nintendo!

The 3DS is the successor to the Nintendo DS line of handhelds, which has sold in excess of 130 million units worldwide.
