The Alters

11 bit studios’ sci-fi survival title The Alters has been on many most anticipated lists for a while now, and with its launch finally drawing ever closer following some delays, at the recent PC Gaming Show, we got another look at the game with a launch trailer. Check it out below.

The Alters sees players playing as protagonist Jan Dolski, who is the only survivor of a crash-landed expedition ship on a hostile planet. To survive and maybe eventually find a way back home, Jan must create multiple alternate versions of himself to help gather and find resources with which to repair, build up, and crew his ship again.

Each alternate version of himself, however, is shaped by a different choice that he made at some point on his life, offering windows into different versions of himself, and what his life could have looked like had he made different choices at those junctures. Check out the launch trailer below for a look at what thegame will have in store.

The Alters is due out on June 13 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
