The Bard’s Tale IV, the upcoming party based RPG from inXile, is targeting a release later this year, specifically in the third quarter of 2018. The game was successfully crowdfunded all the way back in 2015, so it has been a long coming- now at least we have some clarity on when to expect it.
We also know that two of the six classes in the game will be the Brew Master (masters of, well, brewing drinks) and Rabble Rousers, which will represent the most aggressive playable class in the game. An alpha version of the game is also going to be made available to backers some time soon, inXile has confirmed.
The Bard’s Tale IV is the latest game in a cult classic series of beloved party RPGs. Hopefully, it is every bit as good as other games that have frontlined the so called ‘CRPG Renaissance” have been. The game will be available exclusively on PC.
