Epic Games started out by launching their Epic Games Store giving away free games. Over 70 games were given away between its launch in December 2018 to the end of 2019. An array of games has been given out, obviously, from action titles to platformers to anything and everything in between. This week’s giveaway is a particularly unique title called The Bridge.

The Bridge is a puzzler that is very different and surreal in what it describes as a mix between Isaac Newton and artist M. C. Escher, originally released in 2013. You manipulate gravity to progress through a series of progressively difficult levels, 48 in total. The game has a melancholy story told through the environment and text.

The Bridge is available now for all major platforms and will be free on the Epic Games Store until January 30th. The next game to be free will bring you to that farming life with Farming Simulator ’19.
