It’s fair to say that The Callisto Protocol has had a lot of people excited about it since the moment it was first unveiled, and every new showing of Striking Distance Studios’ upcoming sci-fi horror game only ratchets up the game’s hype a little bit more. Courtesy of a recent Game Informer interview, we’ve now got another brief new look at the game.

The interview, which you can check out below, shows three new gameplay clips capturing on next-gen hardware, showcasing the protagonist walking around in dimly lit interior corridors and environments, along with a couple of small bursts of combat and looks at enemies and weapons. Visually, it’s continuing to look impressive, and delightfully gory.

In the interview, creative director and Striking Distance Studios boss Glen Schofield also talks about the process of first conceptualizing The Callisto Protocol, the process of writing the game’s story, and more.

The Callisto Protocol is due out on December 2 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
