Developer Striking Distance Studios has announced that ultra-violent horror game The Callisto Protocol will be getting a DLC, titled Final Transmission. The DLC, described by the studio as the final chapter of The Callisto Protocol, will be available on June 27 for PlayStation, before being released on to other platforms on June 29.
The studio has posted a 21-second teaser for the Final Transmission DLC which, while not showing us much in the way of gameplay, does give us a brief glimpse at what we can expect from the DLC in terms of story. Check it out below.
Since its release back in December 2022, The Callisto Protocol has seen quite a few updates released for it over time, including the Riot Mode DLC back in May, the Contagion Mode DLC back in March, and a free update back in April that allowed players to skip cutscenes.
The Callisto Protocol is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. For more details about the title, check out our review, as well as our thoughts on what went wrong with the game.
