The Callisto Protocol

Striking Distance Studios and Krafton have lately been teasing an upcoming update for upcoming sci-fi survival horror title The Callisto Protocol, and as you may have expected, that update has arrived in the form of a new trailer.

The Callisto Protocol is set on Jupiter’s titular moon, Callisto, where protagonist Jacob Lee, trapped in a maximum security prison facility, has to find a way to survive and flee amidst an onslaught of monstrous, mutated monsters called Biophages.

As the new trailer makes perfectly clear, there’s more going on than meets the eye- the Biophages are evolving and mutating further, and the people in charge are hiding dark secrets. Of course, the game continues to give off major Dead Space vibes. Check out the trailer below, which also shows some typically gruesome gameplay here and there.

The Callisto Protocol is due on December 2 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
