The Crew Social Driving Trailer Revealed By Ubisoft

"This is you" is a bad way to start your trailer.

Hm. Not sure I like this one. I like THE CREW, despite all the forced online stuff and the fact that the name is spelt entirely in capital letters. But this trailer just doesn’t strike me as a well made one, it feels more as though it’s pandering to people that don’t know a thing about the game than actually showing off social features.

Personal niggles aside, the trailer does a really rather good job of showing off the games somewhat attractive landscapes. Plus there’s a pretty sick take down at 1:20 which is always a good thing. Perhaps the most clever thing in the trailer is the inclusion of a timer in the bottom left of the video, it documents how time is supposed to pass in the game when you make full use of the social elements, which I like.

So yeah, all in all a fairly solid if a little “we’re so cool”. Either way, I’m extremly hyped for THE CREW and you should be to.
