The Division is a big, persistently online, MMORPG, so of course, it having a character creator isn’t exactly a shock or anything. What is a bit of a shock is just how extensive the character creation tools seem to be in the game- there’s an almost staggering amount of variety and depth on offer here, something rivaling Bethesda games. Basically, you should be able to make your character look like pretty much anyone in this game.
You can check out the character creator for yourself, in this video below by YouTuber Arekkz. The video is based on the beta for the game, but the final product will pretty much resemble what you see here, without much in the way of changes.
The Division is due out on March 8, for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The game promises a more sophisticated and focused take on the concepts pioneered by Bungie and Destiny- in the process, it can hopefully deliver a far more compelling product, too.
