The DriveClub TV Ad Asks You To Take The DriveClub Oath

I solemnly swear I'm up to no good...

So, DriveClub looks great, and it also has the dubious distinction of being literally the only big exclusive Sony has for the rest of the year (and one of only two this year to begin with. Yeah…). So obviously, Sony is going to push it with all its marketing muscle and might, and sure enough, as we approach its release, Sony is ramping up the marketing.

Take this new TV ad, for instance. I actually think it’s a little corny, to be honest, but hey, it does the job, and manages to convey some of the unique selling points of the game very effectively. Plus, hey, it actually shows some gameplay footage, so some automatic points for that, especially considering how many game ads forget to do that these days.

DriveClub launches exclusively for the PlayStation 4 later this month. It will also be getting a pared back PS+ version, as well as a bundle to entice newer buyers.
