The Elder Scrolls Online

The Elder Scrolls Online launched for consoles back in June and we finally have some info on brand new DLC that is coming down the pike in the next few months. Bethesda announced that the DLC will be hitting PC and Mac on August 31 and will then be landing on the Xbox One on September 15. One day later, the new content, titled Imperial City will be live on the PS4.

The DLC will bring new content, characters and items to the game and will feature players taking on the Daedric Prince Molag Bal, whose forces have overrun Imperial City. Those who download the new DLC will be fighting Daedric forces and also each other. The new content comes with a $20 price tag, which certainly means there should indeed be “hours” of new content and storytelling, otherwise Bethesda will see the same kind of backlash Bungie is facing with Destiny’s The Taken King DLC.

Along with the brand new content, Bethesda has also promised a patch for current content that has been giving people problems from time to time. Among the issues taken on with the patch will be improvements to items as well as as concerted effort to make it a bit easier to hit “veteran status.” You can check out all the features of the new DLC over on the game’s official website and you can check out the video below to get a sneak peak at the content.
