The Elder Scrolls Online New Video Features ‘The Dreugh’

They look mighty friendly, for realz.

New footage from ZeniMax’s upcoming MMO based on Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls universe has emerged, showcasing a new race of dangerous and disgusting monsters that inhabit Tamriel. We would think they were misunderstood but the drooling fangs and bloodlust seem pretty real. Check out the new footage, completely in-game, from The Elder Scrolls Online.

The creatures have previously made appearances in Morrowind, Oblivion and Daggerfall, and this time, players will be able to see both land-based and sea-based specis of the Dreugh throughout Elder Scrolls Online. Because the only thing better than fighting the insect-like beasts is knowing that there’s no where to hide from them. Luckily, they tend to congregate the coastline on the eastern part of Tamariel.

The Elder Scrolls Online is being developed by Zenimax Online Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks for the PC and Mac OS X. It is expected to release some time in early 2013.
