Zero Wing was not an impressive game; in fact it was quite bad. The incident that made the game quite worse was the broken English used in the introductory stage.  This introductory scene was translated by Sega of Europe to English from Japanese rather badly for the European release, resulting in dialogue such as “Somebody set up us the bomb” and the ever popular “All your base are belong to us.”
