Gabe Newell’s Portal 2 Announcement at Sony’s E3 2010 Press Conference:
Gabe Newell shocked the gaming industry when he took center stage at Sony’s E3 press event in 2010. On numerous occasions before he was critical of the PlayStation 3 and he left our jaw dropped in surprised when he revealed that Portal 2 will be coming to the PS3.
Almost the entire planet was just tired of waiting around for Half Life 3 and was reaching to the point where almost everyone wanted to throw something at old’ Gabe. However Valve came through for us, when they surprised everyone with a spectacular demo of Portal 2. Everyone was impressed by the rather awesome game-play of Portal 2 and of course by then, they all had hopes that Half Life 3 would be showcased, but no such luck.
