E3 1995: Playstation One price points destroys Sega Saturn
Most of us remember the Playstation and the day it was launched, for some of us it made us the gamers that we are now. In the light of Sega’s announcement, Sony decided that they had one more card to play at E3, that would shock the audience and make Sega look like a fool. Immediately following Sega’s announcement, Sony went on stage and gave them the finger in the form of a single number: $299. This meant that the Playstation would be undercutting the Saturn by a hundred bucks.
