The video is based on an intentionally horrible Half-Life fan fiction and uses nerd jokes, memes, and equally ridiculous special effects posing to tell the hilarious story of Gordon Freeman’s “sibling”, John Freeman. Though the script was poorly written, it still managed to gain a wider audience later on.
