Metal gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will retain Kojima’s trademark wackiness and eccentric sense of humor. Specifically, there will be diamond goats that will be combat trained that you can call on to help you in the middle of a mission, according to a preview published by German website PC Games Hardware.
Sorry, I can’t continue, this is too bizarre. Especially since I’m not sure if Kojima is playing me like a damn fiddle any more. Anyway, what use could you possibly have of goats? Well, remember the crowds in Assassin’s Creed? Think of how they can provide mobile cover for you, right? Well, the goats in this game will be something like that, giving you cover even as you move.
I mean… I guess, it makes sense? Goats are a fixture of the Afghanisthani landscape, that’s for sure. It’s still completely wacky. Only Kojima could have thought that one up. However that is not all. The Japanese version of the PlayStation Blog have shared more details about the game. Vehicles are harder to control when roads are wet from rain and you can even receive emblems for fultoning animals. The music will stop when you have killed or fultoned out every enemy from a location and if you haven’t bathed flies will be attracted which will also show up in cutscenes.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will launch on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and PC on September 1.
Thanks JunkerHQ for the translation.
When the music has stopped, it's nice hearing all the environmental noises.

Music stops after you Fulton or kill every soldier in an outpost. Very satisfying. Music starts playing at low volume when enemies are close

Another said the mission areas are very large. & a lot of environment variety. Plains, mts., valleys, cliffs, even a fortress w/ caves

Also interesting that Snake's age is listed as unknown, when Kojima himself said during the Kiefer reveal that Snake is 49 in TPP.
