The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild File Sizes Revealed

Surprisingly not large.

The star of Nintendo’s lineup for this year is the incredible looking The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. We have never seen another game like it, and it looks like the biggest leap forward the Zelda series has made, ever. Everyone wants to play that game- whether on the Switch, or on the Wii U, everyone wants to try it out.

If you are planning on picking it up digitally, however, you may want to clear some space on your hard drive. As Nintendo games go, Breath of the Wild is actually on the higher end, coming in at 13.4 GB on the Nintendo Switch, and 13GB on the Wii U. Why the extra 400MB on the Switch? Presumably because of higher quality textures, but that’s all I can think of at the moment.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be available on Nintendo Switch and Wii U on March 3 this year.
