Nintendo finally gave us a true new look at The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, their upcoming open world action adventure entry in gaming’s most legendary series. The new trailer was a short teaser ahead of a full fledged reveal later at The Game Awards, and it showed us, in Nintendo’s own words, a world that’s actually populated.

The trailer showed off guards, villages, NPCs, and more, apart from hinting at a darker legend and story in the background of the game- including a tease at the appearance of Princess Zelda, not to mention a glimpse at Ganon’s evil, too.

You can check out the trailer below. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is going to release exclusively for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U some time next year, with its release date currently pegged for June 2017 by most rumors. Let us know what you think of the trailer below.
