The decay of time.

Although Nintendo are probably not going to be sharing much, if any, more details on the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for a while now (we would assume that the next time we get to see the game is at the NX’s official unveiling, which is supposed to be next month), they did share a very short video on their Facebook recently, which showed off a location that should be familiar to series fans.

The new video shows off a decrepit Temple of Time, the legendary location where the Master Sword’s pedestal was hidden, and which was a key plot point in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. The video showing a Temple of Time falling into ruin, as well as our previous knowledge of the Master Sword being not in the Temple, but in a Forest in this game, leads to further questions about this game’s placement in the Zelda timeline.

You can watch this video for yourself below. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is due out on the Wii U and Nintendo NX some time next year.
