The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild ‘Pro HUD’ Removes Needless Clutter From Your Screen

It looks like, much as Nintendo did with The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, they will allow players to clear up some of the clutter of the Breath of the Wild HUD. A ‘Pro’ mode for the HUD has been discovered in the game’s options menu, which apparently removes everything except for Link’s health containers from the screen- so the time of the day, the minimap, the amount of noise you are making, and the temperature meter, are all gone.

This of course allows you to see more of Breath of the Wild‘s in game world- and given just how gorgeous and lush the game’s world is, that is only a good thing. Of course, for players who would rather have all that information on hand, you can switch back to the normal HUD. It’s not like the Breath of the Wild HUD is ugly or inelegant, anyway.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will launch on Nintendo Switch and Wii U on March 3.
