The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Screenshot Seems To Be Hinting At New, Unrevealed Mechanic

Or is it?

There’s so much we don’t know about the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, in spite of us seeing so much of it (and even getting hands on time with it recently). Nintendo is running a very tight ship as far as their newest magnum opus goes, and it’s easy to see why- this is the kind of game that you want players and the community to discover and enjoy on their own.

So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that there are still mechanics we don’t know of. Such as this one that WCCFTech speculates might exist based on the screenshot that you can see below- there are, apparently, some kinds of abilities in the game that Link can use. Of course, this could just as well be referencing the Shiekah Slate functions that Link can access- there’s no way to know right now.

But we should know for sure pretty soon- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild launches on Nintendo Switch and Wii U on March 3.
