The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Update 1.3.4 Is Now Available

No one knows what it does.

Nintendo has released the latest update for their world conquering The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. But before you get too excited for new content, or meaningful bug fixes, or even an indication that the long awaited second expansion for the game, which is meant to be a story expansion featuring a new dungeon, is almost here- well, don’t. This actually seems to be a routine maintenance patch.

According to Nintendo’s patch notes, the update makes small fixes to improve gameplay. What fixes? What improvements? Who knows? Nintendo isn’t saying! Because for some reason, it would kill the Zelda team to actually have detailed patch notes.

Anyway, as for the second expansion for the game, The Champion’s Ballad– Nintendo maintains it is due to launch before the end of the year, with a recent rumor having pegged it for a 12/12 release. We’ll let you know what its release date is as soon as we know. For now, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is available on Wii U and Nintendo Switch, and it is already spectacular, so go play it.
