The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom offers a sprawling adventure that you can easily pour well over a hundred hours into, but if you’re still hungry for more new content in the game, there’s a little bit of bad news for you.

Prior to the open world title’s launch, there were some suggestions that, much like Breath of the WildTears of the Kingdom would also receive post-launch DLC. However, speaking in a recent interview with FamitsuThe Legend of Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma revealed that Nintendo currently has no plans to work on an expansion for the game.

“There are no plans to release additional content this time, but that’s because we feel like we’ve done everything we can to create fun in that world,” Aonuma said.

Interestingly enough, Aonuma has said that focus will now be shifting to the next Zelda game, which, according to him, will be something “completely new”.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch. Read our review of the game through here.
