The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s long-awaited launch is around the corner now, and excitement surround it is continuing to mount. We’re now approaching the time when people will start looking out for reviews from outlets and publications in the build-up to launch, and while it’ll still be a while before we get to that point, it seems like we are nonetheless going to get hands-on impressions on the open world title soon.

As shared by a Reddit user, it seems like journalists and content creators were recently invited to Nintendo’s Europe HQ in Frankfurt, following which a number of them have been dropping teases that point to previews for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom going live later this week, on Wednesday, April 26. Interestingly, journalist Tom Henderson has corroborated this on Twitter.

What the extent of the previews will be, how much new information they will reveal, and whether they will be accompanied by new gameplay footage remains to be seen, but it does seem like new details on the game will be landing very soon.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom launches on May 12 for the Nintendo Switch.
