Wind Waker HD gameplay mechanics explained.

At long last, the The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD remake is on the horizon, and Nintendo has released a new trailer. The graphics look absolutely stunning in HD quality, and the game play has been revamped and modified to fit the Wii U system.

Some examples of the new Wii U modifications are as follows: The Wii U GamePad touchscreen will serve as a map and inventory for gamers, and will eliminate the annoyance of toggling between between the two in game. Additionally, various weapons will utilize the GamePad, such as the bow.

This new version will also utilize the Miiverse, with a special item, the Tingle Bottle, that will be used to send messages to the game’s community.

On top of these Wii U-specific updates, the game is being streamlined to be an overall less tedious process, with boat mechanics being vastly updates.

The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD promises to be just as, if not more, awesome to play as the Gamecube release, as all of these additions sounds extremely positive and well thought out. The game is set to release in North America on September 20th, 2013.
