After loads of leaks and rumors, it has finally happened- The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD will be coming over to the Wii U in March 2016. It looks pretty cleaned up compared to the original game, which is great to see, since the original suffered from being on the Gamecube, visually speaking. There will be some gameplay improvements coming to the game too, including Amiibo support (as well as a brand new Midna-Wolf Link Amiibo), but Nintendo declined to go into too much detail on these just yet.

That wasn’t all the Zelda news we had, either- Nintendo confirmed that the new Legend of Zelda game will be launching on the Wii U, in spite of all the speculation that it has been moved to the Wii U, and they also confirmed that the game will be coming to 2016- so all the rumors about the game have been dispelled. Rest easy, you’ll get your Zelda, and you will get it on Wii U.

Check out the trailer for Twilight Princess HD below, and stay tuned for more footage.
