Epic-Games-Store-

A new week is here, and it’s time for more free games if you’re gaming on PC. Or well, this week we’re back to one free game (which seems to be what Epic Games is going back to), but it is quite something in the form of an old school throwback, The Messenger.

The Messenger is a 2D platformer that pays homage to classic side scrollers like Ninja Gaiden and Shinobi. While that may not be all a unique thing nowadays, The Messenger is a great title which features tons of action, skills and hidden paths. In it you play a young ninja who must deliver an important scroll as he fights through a demon army, and things aren’t as they seem. The game also got a major update for free that you’ll be able to download as well.

The Messenger is available for free on the Epic Games Store until November 21st. After that is Bad North: Jotunn Edition, a RTS and Rogue-lite hybrid where you must defend your island from invading Vikings.
