Castlevania: Lords of Shadow

To say that a lot happens in Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, which serves as a prequel to the main series, would be an understatement. After the credits, we see that Zobek is still alive and so is Gabriel Belmont…except the latter is now a vampire who goes by the name of Dracula. Zobek entices the latter to help him on a new quest, which helps set up the sequel. Playing through the Reverie and Resurrection DLCs, it’s revealed that Gabriel fought an evil entity called the Forgotten One. After becoming a vampire to enter the Forgotten One’s prison, Gabriel defeated it and subsequently gained its power. He then forgoes his weaponry and is presumably living in isolation until Zobek finds him.
