The Hitman games are masterpieces of social stealth in dense sandboxes, but they haven’t always looked the best. Not bad, per se- but not particularly great either. Hitman 3, the conclusion of the World of Assassination trilogy, definitely bridged that gap. Hitman 3 takes players to some spectacular locations across its runtime, and each of them looks absolutely amazing, and properly lived in. The fact that the game maintains this across multiple levels that are all large and varied and teeming with constantly interacting systems deserves all the praise in the world.
