The Sims 4 Details: Emotional Depth, Sharing And More

The Sims 4, the upcoming latest in the hugely popular life simulation series, is set to release sometime in 2014. EA has released little to no details on the project thus far, beyond announcing it’s development. Today, however, a handful of screenshots, and some vague game details/upgrades were leaked, giving us our first glimpse at what to expect from the new title.

The game’s description is much the same as any other entry in The Sims series: Create and control your Sims, choose how and where they live, pick a career, find love, make friends. The world is at your fingertips in his virtual reality.

The leaked features for The Sims 4 are as follows:

New Sims – Your Sims avatars will feature new skins, updated intelligence, and more emotional responses.

Intelligence – Sims will have actually personalities, the ability to multi task, choose goals and aspirations, and will have memories.

Emotional Depth – Your avatars will both feel and express emotion in The Sims 4. Their interactions with other Sims will affect their day-to-day mood, provide them with memories, and even influence their taste in clothing. The increased emotional depth of your Sims will provide the possible of much deeper, more realistic simulated stories for you to experience.

New Creative Tools – Your Sim creation palate will be the most expansive and detailed yet.

Vibrant Neighborhoods – Newer, larger, more detailed neighborhoods for you to choose from and start your new Sim life in.

Rewards – Unlock prizes such as new outfits and traits by completing certain goals.

Sim sharing – Share your Sims with your loved ones, and download community made creations for different types of looks.

The Sims 4 will release for Mac and Windows sometime in 2014.
