The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct trailer was fake and unofficial

Humans and all that.

Update: I would like to apologise to Activision and Terminal Reality for blasting a trailer for The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct that has now been confirmed to be a fake. Earlier I posted a trailer–which plenty of news channels also did–that showed a horrific game that clearly came from 2001.

It was a bit shady too as you don’t expect Activision to release something like that, but since the video came from the YouTube channel that was titled after the game’s name, majority of press were fooled.

This was compounded by the fact Dan Amrish social media manager for Activision posted the same trailer on his blog. So it’s clear that everyone just got this wrong. So apologies.

We will keep you updated once we get some new information from Activision. Normally I would have just updated the older post, but I felt this deserved a new one.
