The Wolf Among Us 2

Plenty of long-awaited video games remain in development for years, seeing starts, stops and even restarts. Telltale Games’ The Wolf Among Us 2 is no exception, but like the Big Bad Wolf himself, it’s still kicking. Summer Game Fest and The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley shared some new images for the project, showcasing various states of its protagonist, Bigby Wolf.

These range from him on a rooftop, seemingly enjoying a moment of peace, and in an anger management therapy session. The others see Bigby reacting (or talking) and walking through a kitchen with some half-eaten food on the table. Telltale shifted the project to Unreal Engine 5 last year, with the results speaking for themselves.

Though “most” of its development team was reportedly laid off last October, The Wolf Among Us 2 is targeting 2024 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months and, hopefully, a release date.
