The sixth entry in the long running grand strategy series, Civilization 6, is due out later this year- and we’re learning more and more about that by the day. For instance, today we learned that Theodore Roosevelt will be the leader for the United States of America in Civilization 6, simultaneously also confirming that America will be a playable nation in the highly anticipated title- something that shouldn’t have been much cause for worry for most people, because America has been in every single game in the series till date.
Roosevelt marks a change from Washington, who was America’s leader in the excellent Civilization 5– although, of course, Firaxis may just choose to go the same route as Civilization 4, and have multiple different leaders for each country and civilization.
Civilization 6 will be available on October 21. It will be launching simultaneously for computers running Windows, Mac, and Linux. Stay tuned for more coverage regarding the game.
