There May Be More Japanese Games Coming to PlayStation 4

Persona, Dragon Quest, Disgaea, Ys, all of this was JUST THE BEGINNING.

Sony went ham the other day during its pre-TGS conference, where they announced game after game after game for the PS4 coming courtesy of Japanese game developers. Considering how the PlayStation’s foundation of success was originally the plethora of Japanese games that it popularized worldwide, it was nice to see Sony trying to return to form.

However, if the insane announcements made on Monday weren’t enough for you- these included Hot Shots Golf, Disgaea 5, Ys, Dragon Quest, Resident Evil Revelations 2, and of course, Persona 5, by the way- then rest assured, Sony isn’t quite done yet, as an insider claims that there will be even more games announced for PlayStation systems this coming TGS.

The last few TGSs have been rather weak, as Japanese developers have opted to focus on mobile games, completely ignoring traditional handhelds and consoles, so this year’s show looks like, by all accounts, a potential return to form.

Stay tuned, we’ll keep you posted.
