Other than their obvious appeal as a platform for recognizing the greatest gaming achievements of a year, The Game Awards have also played host to a number of major reveals and announcements for some time now, and it looks like this year is going to be no different. Rumours and speculation about various new games have been circulating for a while, and we not have a clearer idea of how many of these reveals we should expect.

Recent, The Game Awards host and producer Geoff Keighley stated that there would be around ten new announcements at the show, but now it seems that there’s going to be even more. Taking to Twitter, the show’s official page recently posted a clip in which Keighley, while answering questions from fans, confirmed that there would actually be “15 or something”. Keighley emphasized that these would be brand new reveals for as yet unannounced games, before also confirming that in addition to that, there would also be updates for existing games.

What these reveals will be is anyone’s best guess right now, but there’s been a few leaks here and there that might give us a bit of an idea of what to expect. The biggest name that keeps popping up is Batman: Arkham Legacy– read more on that through here.

The Game Awards air on December 12.
