A sliding dash is kind of a dodge and it helps you get out of sticky situations, where normally you would be dead in. We have seen in games like Castlevania and Mega man, and for those who played those games can attest to its awesomeness and the many ways it spelt the difference between life and death. For most of us who work in normal office jobs, this power may not be all that useful, unless you really have to go to the bathroom. But if you are a competitive runner then this is the power for you.
