This Mysterious New Square Enix Livestream May Be About The New Deus Ex Game On Xbox One, PS4, and PC

Can't Kill Progress.

Square Enix is apparently streaming something on Twitch right now, a stream that is called CKP (short for Can’t kill Progress). It is an interactive stream that lets viewers decide the direction the story of the stream will go in with votes at critical, predetermined junctures, meaning it is an all new experiment in Twitch interactivity, in the tradition of SaltyBets or Twitch Plays Pokemon.

But as for what this stream is about, it appears that it may be about a brand new Deus Ex game. A new Deus Ex game, colloquially referred to as Deus Ex Universe, has long been rumored to be in the works for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and this stream might be leading up to a full reveal of the title. Certainly the tone of the stream, as well as the concept art being shown off seems to suggest as much.

What do you guys think? Brand new Deus Ex game? Or some disappointing mobile game project? Or both?
