THQ may not be in trouble anymore if this press release from them is to be believed. They have advised investors to look out for positive news when their financial reports hit on May 15th.
They have exceeded earnings expectations due to Saints Row 3 for Q4. The digital version of the game was successful and the game has shipped 4 million units so far according to THQ.
“The company expects to utilise a substantial portion of its cash and cash equivalents, as well as its credit facility [that it didn’t dip into in financial Q4], as it launches its slate for the 2013 fiscal year, beginning with Darksiders 2,” they wrote.
Darksiders 2 could be delayed and their CEO Danny Bilson has said that they won’t hesitate to delay it if they feel the game needs polish. The game will be released on the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC this year.
