Timesplitters Rewind

It has been a while since some volunteers have been trying to recreate the Timesplitters games in the form of a game known as Timesplitters Rewind. They had even stated back in July that they were facing development issues because of CRYENGINE. Well, now it has been confirmed that the game is alive and well and Cinder Interactive Arts has even released some screenshots from the game.

The screenshots are from the game’s Siberia level and it should be interesting to see how much better these levels look once they’re completed. The game will be a standalone multiplayer game and will feature characters, maps and weapons from the original games.

Anyway, it is nice to see this fan-made project back on its feet and hopefully, we will get to see more of the other levels soon enough. Thoughts on this? Let us know in the comments section below.
