This may sound ridiculous. Microsoft had things going their way and EA had bagged rights to publish the game, and after creating much a hype about Titanfall being a game that was supposedly something better than the contemporary shooters, the game was almost forgotten. There was something wrong with the marketing.
Respawn released new DLCs and people wouldn’t know about it for days, or weeks. Steam would solve this problem because its user base is much larger than that of Origin and the interface is convenient too, with every new thing popping up in your face once a while. These factors and a rather active community on a well established platform like Steam can do wonders for Titanfall 2.
