In the Titanfall 2 beta a lot of players were not very impressed by the maps present in the game. There wasn’t enough room or opportunities to wall run, however Respawn’s Art Chief Operating Officer Dusty Welch has confirmed that the final game will have tons of new maps and many opportunities to wall run.

“I think first, people haven’t seen this, but we offer a wide variety of maps that accommodate different play styles. Some of them are very heavily focused in chaining wall runs together and playing that way. You’ll see those pretty soon. Maps we showed in the tech test were shown for different purposes — for testing out different gameplay elements,” Dusty Welch stated in an interview with PlayStation Lifestyle.

This statement should come off as a relief for players wondering why the level design does not encourage wall running. Titanfall 2 is out on October 28th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
