Feeling annoyed that Titanfall’s Expedition DLC isn’t as meaty as you expected? Respawn Entertainment co-founder Vince Zampella promises more substantial content in the coming months since these three maps are only meant to appeal to current fans who managed to complete the base game so quickly.

Speaking to VentureBeat, Zampella stated that, “There are a couple of new things. You can wall-run on the trees. In particular, you can wall-run around the tree and choose the direction to jump off. You can run around the tree and then jump. It’s one of those things we realized was pretty cool.”

Zamepella has clarified that we won’t see new modes in the initial DLC. “As soon as we can, we will add new modes. It won’t make the initial DLC pack. The new maps will hold people off a little bit. We wanted to strike a balance of having people get through the content easily and also have enough content to play with. People burned through it pretty fast.

“That’s the way game development is. You have 1,000 ideas. You can’t do them all. You pick the ones that have the most impact. Some of it won’t see the light of day or will wind up in a sequel.”

Titanfall’s Expedition DLC will be out in May for Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
