4. Bionic Commando - The Twist
Bionic Commando attempted to reboot the classic NES platformer in 3D, but it managed to suck really hard. The linear gameplay and repetitive combat let it down, and the plot wasn't really all that good. Whilst the ending twist was pretty ridiculous, it was pretty damn surprising. Sure the whole “your missing wife has been with you the whole time” gag was pretty corny, but it sure as hell threw a curve ball in regards to narrative. Now if only David Cronenberg had directed it, this ending could have made BC a body horror masterpiece.
