Borderlands: The Secret Armory of General Knoxx

The best part about The Secret Armory of General Knoxx was that it was cheap, and for a very reasonable price, it provided with an increased level cap, new weapons, new vehicles, new weapons, and a steady stream of humour and actions that we’d all come to love Borderlands for. Out of all the DLCs that were released for Borderlands, Zombie Island of Dr. Ned was the only one that even came close to the quality of General Knoxx, but non actually managed to surpass it.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles

The Elder Scrolls IV is regarded by many to be one of the greatest games of all time, with its excellent level design, addictive nature and hugely open nature. Shivering Isles was praised mostly due to the same reasons. Shivering Isles had an amazing open world for us to explore and roam around in, great level design, some great main and side quests and a very engrossing story. It definitely added to the value of the experience, bringing it up by several notches. Truly, Shivering Isles has to be one of the best expansions any game has ever received.

Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare

Who doesn’t love zombies? Zombies and Red Dead Redemption were a perfect mixture. At first, it seemed a bit too bizarre, like zombies in Call of Duty, but as you start playing this DLC, you realize that it’s a perfect fit. Undead Nightmare was an extremely engrossing, addictive and ewnjoyable game, that provided with tons of hours of entertainment, and some of the best missions built by Rockstar this generation, some even better than many of the missions in the original game itself. RDR fan or no, this is one DLC everyone should definitely play.

Mass Effect 2: Lair of the Shadow Broker

It’s no secret that Mass Effect 2 is one of our most favourite games of all time, and my personal favourite game period. Whenever I went in to play anything related to the game, I went in with super-high expectations. The Overlord DLC met them more or less with a few reservations, and the Arrival DLC was an absolute disappointment, but the Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC surpassed them in a way that I could not have even imagined. The DLC pack was extremely atmospheric, with a brilliant story and setting, great combat, spectacular art style and two of the most awesome boss fights I have played in recent years. There’s so much to be said about a DLC pack as good as Lair of the Shadow Broker which I do not have the time to say right now, so I’ll sign off by saying this: play it, you won’t regret it.
