Battlefield: Bad Company 2- Vietnam
I’m not really a huge fan of map packs, and I hate that Halo and Call of Duty map packs are so highly priced. But BFBC2’s map pack was an exception. Vietnam added some really well constructed maps, awesome new weapons, great atmosphere and very Vietnam-y action. The visuals were just as stunning as you’d expect and the DLC added so much longevity and addictiveness to the game, that even today I pick up and play the multiplayer on the Vietnam maps every now and then. Truly wonderful work by DICE.
L.A. Noire- The Naked City
L.A. Noire was an excellent game as it was, but the added DLC called The Naked City just blew me away. The extra Vice case was an absolute stunner, and definitely one of the best cases in the entire game, with the Badge Pursuit Challenge and the extra goodies making it even more worth its while. While some of you may not like the DLC or even the game itself much, The Naked City is, in my opinion, one of the best DLC packs I’ve ever played.
Fallout 3: Broken Steel
Fallout 3 was a brilliant game, there’s no doubt about that, and it’s expansion packs were just as good. Broken Steel, though, has to be the best of the lot. It had an excellent, enjoyable campaign with a bunch of missions that far outdid any of the missions in other DLC packs of the game, and many sections of the game itself. True, it was a little light on story, and many glitches and bugs that plagued the original game were prevalent here as well, but at the end of the day, Broken Steel was a hell lot of fun.
