Necromorphs – Dead Space

Freud's idea of the uncanny was that it is that which looks still vaguely human but altered that truly terrifies us. It is thus that the Necromorphs deformed and mutated human features work strongly in their favour to make them pant-wettingly scary. I've grouped all Necromorph types together here just for completion's sake, but the Necromorph babies get especial credit for their fear factor. There's just something about zombie children that's always terrifying.
