3. Alan Wake 2
I know some were disappointed by Remedy’s Alan Wake but, with it having such a prolonged development cycle, how could it possibly live up to the expectations? If an Alan Wake sequel gets announced at this year’s E3, we can guarantee it will have a more normal development cycle. With a more standard time spent in development, Alan Wake 2 will be given a chance to be a normal game, rather than a disappointment at the hands of an unfair hype. Fingers crossed gang.
2. Project Gotham Racing 5
The Project Gotham Racing series has always been met with favourable criticism, but it’s been a surprisingly long time since we’ve last seen a PGR game grace our ranks. With four years since 2007’s PGR4, I think it’s about time we were treated some more classic Xbox exclusive racing action, so we best get some good news at E3 this year.
1. A new Halo game
Yep, two Halo games on the same list. And what? Is it likely that a brand new Halo game will be announced? No, but it certainly isn’t out of the realms of possibility. Should the inevitable happen early it will be interesting to see whether it will be a spin-off, or whether 343 will go straight for the jugular with a proper new Halo experience. Either way, it will definitely make Microsoft’s press event a pleasant surprise and a highlight of the expo.
