Star Citizen
For being one of the most funded crowd funded ventures, it sure has taken a while for this space sim from Chris Roberts to come out. I blame it on the the amount of content he has ambitiously decided to see through in the project. Essentially it’s two different games in one: A Space Sim, where you can venture around the stars making your living how you choose (I’ll be doing a lot of dog fighting), and a first person shooter when infiltrating ships for various quests and loot. Squadron 42, is apparently a single player campaign that is kind of a spiritual successor to Wing Commander.
